Coupons & Rewards — What We Offer

Summary: A feature list and answers to common prospect questions about coupons and rewards.

Try it yourself: Demo: Creating a Coupon — a click-through walkthrough of the real coupon creation screen. Good to have open when a prospect asks how flexible the feature really is.

What customers can do today

  • Get a percentage off, or a fixed amount off
  • Apply the discount to a whole order, one product, or a product's listed price
  • Earn coupons by spending loyalty points, or get them automatically from a stamp card or referral reward
  • Coupons can be limited to certain customers, customer groups, specific products, or product bundles
  • Set a maximum number of uses overall, a maximum per customer, and a minimum order size to qualify
  • If an order with a coupon gets cancelled, the coupon is automatically given back so it can be used again

Coming soon (not available to customers yet)

  • Coupons that get created and applied automatically when a company runs a trade promotion — no code needed, no redeeming
  • Even more precise targeting for those automatic coupons (by sales region, sales channel, and customer type)
  • The ability to make a product "coupon only," so it can't be bought at all without one

Questions prospects often ask

  • "Can we run limited-time discounts?" Yes — every coupon has a start and end date.
  • "Can we give a discount only to our best customers?" Yes — coupons can be limited to specific customer groups or specific accounts.
  • "Can a discount apply to just certain products?" Yes.
  • "Can we cap how many people use a promo?" Yes — both a total limit and a per-customer limit.
  • "Can discounts apply automatically without a code?" That's coming soon, not available yet.

Known limitations

  • Right now, a coupon is either a straight percentage off or a straight amount off — there's no "10% off the first 5, 5% off after that" style of discount.
  • The automatic promotion-based coupons mentioned above haven't launched yet.
